Vale of Glamorgan Classic Car Show

The day started off well - there were no traffic queues and we went straight into the show. There were plenty of marshals to escort you into your position.

The show was put on by The Rotary Club of Dinas Powis in aid of the Welsh Air Ambulance. It was a good turn out, over 460 cars exhibits, plus 20 Honda Goldwings and a few classics motorcycles.

Weather was good with nice views over the sea. My personal pick of the day was this Mercedes displayed here. Well done to the owner. The winner of the show was a Wolsley, second place was a Jaguar and in joint third was the Ferrari and Ford Focus. Winner of the bike section was a Harley Davidson, second was the Honda Goldwing and third place was a Triumph.

The entertainment at this venue was good from a rock and roll band, several stalls and auto jumble. Sadly, the journey home was not so good, it took 50 mins to go a short distance from Sully to the M4 motorway.
