Stoneleigh MG & Truimph Spares Day
1st March 2015
Report Picture

This was an early start to the show. We left at 4:45 am to meet in the layby before Monmouth tunnels. We then proceeded to the show and arrived at 8:30 am.

The car display and auto spares were held inside four huge halls which was a first for me. It was an excellent show especially for those looking for parts for their vehicles. Richard, one of our members, bought a steering wheel. Phillip the chairman bought a rear wing (all at a bargain price).

Fuzz Townsend the presenter on car SOS was there on the Carole Nash stand. I had chat with him; he was a really nice guy.

My pick of the show was this really old MG absolutely stunning well done to the owner of this car.

After the show we went cross country avoiding the motorways, which was nice, I was glad Richard had his sat nav with him. We then called in Ross on Wye for a meal and to reflect on the day. A good start to the car show season.
