This was the Morris Minors Owners Club ( South Wales Branch) Rally. It was situated in the St Fagans History Museum, Cardiff. St Fagans is one of Europe's leading open–air museums and Wales's most popular heritage attractions. It has been open to the public since 1 November 1948.

The museum stands in the grounds of the magnificent St Fagans Castle, a late 16th-century manor house donated to the people of Wales by the Earl of Plymouth. The Castle is a Grade 1 listed building and one of the finest Elizabethan manor houses in Wales. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens including an Italian Garden (created in 1902 and renewed in 2003).

During the past half century they have rebuilt over 40 original buildings from different historical periods on the 100-acre parkland. Among the buildings are houses, a farm, a school, a chapel and a splendid Workmen's Institute.

I was not in this show due to illness, but a kind family member attended the show and took the pictures for me. I was told that the crowd of exhibitors was good. There was over 100 cars on display from the Rolls Royce, Metropolitans, a Police car and the Austin Camper. My pick of the show was the 1970 Morris Traveller, which also won The Best in Show. Well done to the owner, Mr David Pryce.
