Gloucester Steam Extravaganza
31st July to 2nd August 2015
1904 Mors

The Gloucestershire Vintage & Country Extravaganza is a three day event as you can see by the amount of photos I have taken. So in the winter months its something to browse through on a wet day.

The turn out was excellent. On Friday there was a remarkable display of steam engines in their own arena.

On Saturday the show really swung into action in the main arena. There were HGVs, Fire engines, Aerobatic displays and Jump for Heroes Parachute display team showing off their skills. The arena was in full swing from 10.45 until 16.00 which had a grand parade of cars from all ages.

There was plenty to see and do at this show. There were great shopping opportunities for women, men and children. There was a vintage fun fair with the Dorman Brothers' Electric Yachts racing each other. There was the Waltzer, David Down's Big Wheel and Michael rules Galloping Horses. Also was a great Beer Tent which had great live music Friday and Saturday night.

Sunday was the main day for the cars to do their drive around the arena. this was well organised.

My pick of the show was this very rare 1904 Mors. This car was in fabulous condition for her age. I have photographed the information on this vehicle in the gallery pics for enthusiasts to read. WELL DONE to the owner Mr Mike Sheppard from Cheltenham.
