Presenting the Cheque to MND Association15th July 2010

The Gwent MG Owners Club held a Classic Vehicle Show on 4th July 2010 at Caldicot Castle to raise funds for this years chosen charity, the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA). Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones. Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech,
swallowing and breathing. Further information can be found at www.mndassociation.org
Our Club night which is held on the third Thursday of the month at The Fugitives Cricket Club, Rogerstone included the presentation of a cheque to the sum of £1825.33 which included £750.00 from Barclays Bank who supported our event. Ann Roberts and Deborah Gwillym our local MNDA representatives were present to accept our donation to such a worthy charity. The Gwent MGOC are proud to be associated with MNDA and would like to thank all our sponsors, those
