The weather stayed fine to enable us to put up the tents and tables. One for the BBQ and the other one for the members. We filled the club stand with lots of Classic Cars - you could say “standing room only”. Wayne donned a Chef’s cap - another of his attributions including Event organizer. It was good to see Bryony, one of our younger members, attending after a back operation. The members tent emptied for the first hour or so – all off for the early bargains. As the others returned it was our turn in search of a MG TD for info., as we are having build problems with ours. In the distance we could see smoke signals so we assumed it was time to return to the club stand for our well done hotdogs etc. The weather stayed dry and sunny and they had a record attendance to the show of cars and people, all in aid of Leukemia Research charity. A very good day out one we never miss.
