| Tintern BBQ 26th July 2009

The weather was dreadful. We met up at Hurrans and made our way to the vineyard in Tintern, where most of us bought wines and cheeses (they tasted lovely).
We had a good turnout for the day, 7 cars. On this occasion we got the gazebo up pretty rapid, so we could shelter from the rain. At midday the rain subsided and we managed to put the barbecues together. Luckily for an hour or so the rain eased off, long enough for us to cook our food, or should I say for 'Richard the Chef' to cook our food. I don't think Gordon Ramsey has anything to worry about.
Considering the weather we lasted as long as we could and decided about 3 o'clock that we'd had enough. We packed up the soggy gazebo and made our way home.
