Sunday Lunch Run to Porthcawl
1st March
| We met at Forge Lane and ASDA at the allocated times. We took a steady drive down to the first stop "The Three Golden Cups Pub" and arrived half an hour early. As the sun was out we sat down and discussed club events etc. As for the manner in arriving, some had their tops down others chose not to. The Cups opened up at 11.20am so we all ordered our teas and coffees and had a good natter for about 45 minutes then it was off to "The Seabank Hotel" in Porthcawl, where we arrived ahead of schedule ready to tuck into some lunch. The food was fabulous, we had a few drinks (won't mention any names but some had a few glasses lined up!), a good laugh and to top it off we had a nice leisurely walk along the beach - even Tony came with us for a walk. Unfortunately Adrian had forgotten his kite. The next event will be Sunday 29th March, the time and venue will be decided at a later date. Thanks for a lovely day. |
