There were seven cars. We met up as planned at Forge Lane and Coryton with five cars in tow and met Lester and Brian at the venue. Dave and Tina met us there too. It was nice to see them back with the club.

The weather for the day was fantastic, which set the tone for the day. The show was packed with cars and there was plenty to do, including stalls and fairs. The lake was beautiful with ducks and geese. Kingsley bought the deal of the day, a small cupboard which he intended to restore during the lonely winter months. There were no plants there so Tony was relieved that Ang could not turn his car into a garden centre. Tony was quite smitten by a Triumph Stag which was parked opposite us and he would disappear now and again to have a look at it.

After another superb event it was again time to make our way home. This time we had a plaque from the show.
