Twelve cars turned out for the rally, which was very good if you look at last year. We panicked about our new club gazebo as our beloved chairman thought he had left two poles at home, but to our delight they were not needed as the shape of the gazebo was like an old army tent. I must say it is very strong, if not a little small, but I am assured that extensions are on the way. While most of us were wrestling with the gazebo Phil put up the flags and bunting with a little help.

The show itself was very good with an arena that had things going on all day. Railway fire engines spraying water everywhere, a girl's band with children as young as five, classic and vintage cars going around, dog display. There were stalls selling everything but not a lot of auto jumble but some is better than none.

The men in the club were at it again, taking the Mickey out of each others cars and Kinsley got most of it this week - I wonder who it will be next week. A mug was given for attending and it was the same as last year - if I keep going maybe I will get a whole set.

Some of the girls left early and managed to get lost as they did last year. The ride home was without incident and the weather was good all day. Wayne choose our car of the show and picked out a pimped VW Beetle with side skirts and kit, I liked an old Citroen which was used during the 2nd world war by the Germans.
