The Welsh Heartlands Transport Festival
19 - 20th April 2008
Blackwood, Caerphilly
We are pleased to announce that we will once again organise the Welsh Heartlands Transport Festival with co-operation of the Caerphilly County Borough Council at the Blackwood Civic Centre & Country Park, Blackwood near Caerphilly.
The festival looks for the unusual and in 2008 we will seek to beat the record for the largest display of vintage invalid carriages ever seen in the UK, we will once again hold gatherings of Czech Made motor vehicles, classic hearses, and even Sinclair C5's and lawnmowers as well as all the usual large display of vintage and classic motor cars, motorcycles, buses, lorries , ambulances,
tractors and vintage machinery etc.
There will be a Friday evening and/or Saturday evening road run for classic cars.
There is also a music programme for general tastes, and celtic wrestling on both days as well as an evening programme. Camping on site is possible with a small charge to cover overnight added security, showers unit etc.
Any assistance in spreading the word would be much appreciated.
