| A good day at Monmouth on the 30th April. We met at Forge Lane at 9:30 am and it looked a bit doubtful as there were only three cars there. On the way the white car that was in front went one way at a roundabout and the rest went the correct way (it was said that we looked like the Red Arrows) - mentioning no names. We picked up more on the way to the M50 and set off again. There was a total of nine cars and we all lined up side by side except for an MGA who turned up
later. The show was a hive of interest, with side stalls, bouncy castle and Punch and Judy. The visitors showed a lot of interest in all the cars. Picnic hampers and kettles soon appeared and lunch was on the way. As a plaque we were all given a mug with Monmouth 2006 on.
We divided after the show with three cars in line going back to Newport. On the weather front it was a dry day, but a little cloudy later and not too warm.
