Meeting at Forge Lane & Hurrans Garden centre along the way, a total five cars turned up and went along to Chepstow all in a line. We soon had tables and chairs out. The weather was great and it was not long before those with fair skin had a slight tan.
There was a lot going on with gymnastics, brass bands, and a hay maker all giving demonstrations. There were not many vintage cars there, but what was there, was worth looking at. One of our club members won one of the raffle prizes and has offered it to be drawn again at our own meeting. Her husband wanted it to be Whiskey but no such luck. Only one car was foolish enough to do a lap of honor in the ring, while the rest chilled out in the heat. At the end of the day when we were going home the two dumb
blonds in the GT shot off only to get lost and start heading for the Midlands. Yes only they could do it.
