While not a Classic Car, the 130 Spyder is a James Dean look-a-like replica Porsche, a body conversion not a kit car Its longer by some 8 inches giving a spacious cockpit - plenty of legroom, a comfortable driving position with exceptionally good visibility With the engine cover having a more pronounced curve than the original Porsche, this is a very sexy, show-stopping, affordable open-topped silver sports car, with the added benefit of a hard top and excellent fuel economy.
It is a two seater convertible inspired by the famous Porsche 550 sports-racer of the mid-fifties which is a classic that won the Targa Florio outright and several class wins at Le Mans. ‘79 model in excellent condition, new MOT, 6 months tax. Extensive history file, receipts, black interior with Mountney wood rimmed steering wheel, period stereo, rostyle wheels, new clutch, chrome rocker cover. She was subject to an extensive restoration & full respray in 1994, the work being done to a very high standard. Always garaged, spring/summer use only, waxoiled & undersealed, 80,000 genuine miles.

Set of five Rostyle Wheels and Tyres. Size 165 x 14The tyres have done no more than 200 miles and are in Excellent condition. The wheels I would say are in Very Good condition.
Grab yourself a bargain at £50 for the set. I can bring them to the next meeting if you would like to see them first.

MG Midget Parts I have just purchased my first MG. It's a 1977 MG Midget soft top and in need of restoring. I have found it almost impossible to find parts in my locality (Newport, South Wales) and wondered if you knew of anyone who may have some for sale or having a clearouts? I'm on a tight if not almost non-existent budget.

Rental Accommodation near Angouleme:
If any of your members are thinking about going to France for the street-circuit racing at Angouleme in September, I am an MG owner with a large luxury property for rent close to the town. Every year there are a variety of classic and vintage sportscars taking part in races, or rather keen 'demonstrations', over the weekend, often quite a large number of very competitive MGTDs as well as various other models, not to mention whole grids of Bugattis and this year a grid of Lagondas.
The races run through the old town, with good views from various stands and vantage points, and in several places there is nothing more between you and the cars than a wire mesh barrier. The pits are even open to members of the public who have got there early and picked up a ticket. My property has enough covered parking for about 6 cars (with a little jockeying), and you can see more details at
http://villacharente.co.uk. The house has 6 double (or twin) bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, a swimming pool and sauna, and is about 45 minutes by MG south of the town centre, by windy country lanes or main road. We live here all year round, in another
